Q: Is the resin food grade safe?
A: Yes the resin is food grade safe, poured equally and is mixed in appropriate conditions (under 23 degrees).
Cures and sets over an 8 day period which complies with the FDA regulations.
Q: Can I put food on the resin part of the board?
A: Yes, you can. As resin complies with the FDA regulations making it food-grade safe.
Q: How do I care for my resin pieces?
A: Wipe down with a disinfectant wipe or wash in warm soapy water.
*Please do not put them in the dishwasher.
To clean resin pieces: Wipe down with a cloth. You can use warm soapy water & or window cleaner.
Q: Do you put any oil on the serving boards?
A: Yes, I use food-safe beeswax and oil from Gilly’s Australia.
Can use organic coconut oil too!
*Please don't use olive oil or canola oil as it can make your board go rancid.
Q: Why is shipping expensive?
A: Shipping cost goes by the weight of each piece, the resin can make wooden pieces heavier than other pieces.
Q: Why haven’t you made anything for cars or outside?
A: Resin tends to turn yellow with indirect sunlight and will crack if too hot in a car or outside.
Q: Will you be teaching classes?
A: No, as I'm a small business. I simply can't afford to, happy to give out tips or advice for those who are just starting to do resin art.

A: Ship Australia-wide only, working on shipping Internationally soon!
Q: Why did my resin piece turn yellow?
A: Your resin piece changes colour and goes yellow, only if exposed to heat or direct sunlight.
I'd advise you that you don't put your serving board in a cupboard next to an oven or open fireplace.
Please do not put your resin pieces where they can reach sunlight or can be exposed to heat.
